you should contact the victory services club. it is a hotel by the marble arch tube station for active duty and retired people and their families. it isn't a 4 star hotel but it is a lot less than most of the hotels and it's pretty close to everything. the bus to stanstad used to depart a couple hundred feet from the hotel.
