Ok when my family arrives is there furniture that we can sign for until our furniture arrives? and does it matter if we live on post or off post for that? And can someone tell me what things we will need to buy as soon as we get there. P.S. We appreciate all the help and info from everyone. 

When you move here, you'll be staying in a temporary lodging facility until you find a house off base, or housing opens up for you on base. When you're in TLF, you'll have all of the furniture you need. If your stuff still isn't here by the time you're out of TLF, you can borrow furniture from the military until it arrives. 

TY, that's what i was looking for. just wanted to be sure the kids wouldn't have to be sleeping on the floor or an air mattress until our stuff arrived. My self i could deal with it for a short while but my girls are a bit prissy and would be looking for an abuse hotline number to call if they had to sleep on the floor. lol 

you may still have to sleep on air mattresses for a few days after moving into your new place. They schedule a time to drop of furniture. When my husband i got here they couldn't deliver anything for about a week and half. They just had too many deliveries. So we slept on an air mattress for a few days. Hopefully you're able to schedule it so they can deliver they day you're able to move into your new place. 

That would be nice, but if not im sure the girls will manage on an air mat for a few days. Im sure that will be the case cuz i will be showing up at the beginning of the busy season for moving there
