Looking for advice about vehicles--Should we bring one over with us or buy two vehicles when we get there. What are the choices like for 4x4 6+ seats. thanks 

Vehicles are very expensive here. We sold hubby's 2000 Taurus prior to leaving for $2000. I gave the buyers a deal on it but only by a few hundred. Little did I realize we could have paid out of pocket to ship it here, sold it on RYS, and still made a bigger profit even after shipping costs. People here list 15yo Toyotas and Opels and Hondas for nearly as much as those cars cost when they were brand new. It's insane. Definitely bring one (at least) with you. You will be glad you did. And hey, if you decide to sell it you can get a heck of a lot more here than you could in a private sale in the states. 

From what I understand, if you don't bring a vehicle with you the military will not pay to ship one back for you. Maybe that is just one of those PCS-rumors, but that is what I've heard in the past. Anyone know for sure?
