Does anyone have any info about Zumba? They are offering the class next month on RAB & I want to try it. I'm not coordinated at all, so I want to make sure I won't fall on my butt :) 

do you have a time/day(s)? I haven't done it but i have heard it is great. I am def. not coordinated by i would try it at least once. 

Are they really??? I miss it soooo much. Do you know if it will offered at night at all?? Anyway yeah Im not coordinated much either lol and I felt like a fool a few times and since its been so long I probably feel that way again for a bit but definitely try it and again and again again lol. Since its just starting there should be a lot of people learning and every teacher teaches a lil different so you wont be the only one not perfect yet. U most likely wont fall on ur butt though lol 

It is T & Th 6:15 - 7:15 at Southside. $8 per class or $45 for 8 classes. I might just pay for 1, to see if I can do it 1st.

yes, pm, otherwise I wouldn't go :) The flyer says march 2 is the 1st class. 

i just called trial free class end of feb. Its a morning one though.. at 10

I am so happy to see someone else interested in this class.I have heard great things about it and really want to try it out. So glad it is one of the few classes offered in the evenings, thanks for providing the times etc. :) 

Does anyone take Yoga or Pilates on RAB? 

They have another Zumba class that just started this week at Kleber. It's a lunch hour one on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:45 to 12:45 :) 

What is Zumba? I've never heard of it. 

I'm going to try Zumba too, it's a type of dance aerobics that I think originated in Miami... not sure. It's supposed to be fun and effective. I also go to yoga and pilates on base and starting dance classes with one of the women who does yoga and pilates, who also does body sculpting, taebo, and dance aerobics. See everyone at Zumba! 

Bahet, you can google Zumba...it has a website and everything. They sell DVD's and stuff on the site...but it also has info on it. Like what it is all about and so forth.
