i have worked in a daycare for almost 3 years in the stated. i talked to the fcc providers and they told me since i dont live on base i dont have to be certified and i can run one in my home. the issue is i have no children and i would like to know where i can get cheap childcare stuff so i can work in my home and make it enjoyable for kids.. any advice would be appreciated thanks have a great day! 

i would strongly suggest you check with the german legal council to see if there are any requirements for providing child care off base. i know i'll probably get slammed for pointing this out but the germans have very strict laws and regulations and it would be smart to know where you stand before you get started. 

Yeah I am fcc certified and live off post I would recommend at least being german certified.

to start a daycare you have to get a German license this counts as a business and you have to pay German tax i know this because i have one and i have to pay
