I see a lot of people driving them around. Mu husband and I are really considering getting one. We want the third row seating but do not want a huge SUV. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks! 

They are not awesome on gas, but they are nice. We went with the BMW X3 but we didn't need the 3rd row seating. Definitely get the bigger engine, the smaller engine can't get out of it's own way.

This may seem like a really stupid question but does anyone know if you can haggle with the capitol motors salesmen? I would expect it in the states but since these are already discounted I wasn't sure. 

No, Volvo doesn't need to do that. They set the price and people are willing to pay it...

Yeah,Deborah is right, you can't haggle. We bought the XC60 last November. We did get the price of the car below the MSPR and we did get some of the optional packages for free because of a promo. You can ask them what kind of promotions they are having. Because of the promo, we were able to save another $2600 on the total amount. We also like that they will ship the car to any dealership to the States for free within 5 years. So, technically since we won't have to pay to ship our second car back to the states, we save some more money. 

Thats very true Ginee! I love that they will ship it back to the states for you. They don't have a promo that good but with the one they are offering us we will save about 1300. Still not too shabby! Are you happy with your XC60? 

We bought our XC90 this October and I think it is Wonderful. Before this we owned Hondas and also have a Volkswagen GTI. This was the only vehicle that handled and had nice pickup like a Volkswagen but was not as huge as a minivan. I love the 3rd row seating and the all wheel drive has been a godsend this winter. If you go to Capital Motors talk with Otis Whitley. He is really nice and was great to work with. 

Paula, we also bought an XC60. I LOVE IT! It does not have the 3rd row seat though, but that doesn't bother me... We looked into the XC90 but I wanted something smaller. (we had an expedition)If you go over there, talk with Sandy. She doen't make you feel like your talking to a car dealer. (Tell her I said hi!) Oh, Otis is nice also, we have just known Sandy for years...:) 

Thank you Deborah and Priscilla! I am happy to hear you both love your cars. I am also very happy to hear that the XC90 handled great in the snow. I was concerned about it. We have a 4WD 4runner right now and love it and it does amazing in the snow, so I was hoping the Volvo would handle well also. Thank you both again =)

My husband and I recently got a Range Rover. It's the best vehicle we've ever owned. We looked into the Volvo's, but for some reason when I look at how a volvo is shaped it reminds me of a possum. No offense to anyone who wants one or owns one. I just find the the front of the vehicle alittle too long. 

I just wanted to thank you all for your input! We went in and ordered ours today!!!! We are so excited and will be trying to wait patiently until May when we can go get it =). 

The hardest part was waiting, but well worth it!!!! Congrats!
