I need to get me and my husband some contact lenses. I was wondering if anybody has bought contacts online? I don't want to go to the place on base cause we need a bunch of boxes and I know I can get them elsewhere for a more reasonable price. I've been told lens.com is good, but was wondering about anywhere else. 

Lens.com is good. I've ordered from 1-800-Contacts before as well. I even got contacts from lens.com w/o a prescription before, just give on the base optometrist's info and ta-da :) 

I order my through drugstore.com they have a tab for contact lenses. It's pretty much the same thing Bethany said the first time you set up your account you put in the military info, they usually approve the info in a day, and will send out your order. You only have to do that once though-it'll save your info for you the rest of the times. I don't think I've waited more than ten days ever to get them. 

I bought mine from a place called Coastal Contacts. They were reasonable and arrived fairly quickly. Although it says a prescription is needed, it never asked for mine. 

I use visiondirect.com, which is the drugstore.com one. My husband found his (disposables) cheapest at lensking.com. 

contactlenses.co.uk theyre cheap! and awesome, and dont ask for a prescription! :D 

I've only tried 1800-contacts and they have really awesome customer service. i was in the states leaving for Germany in three days and forgot to click one-day shipping when ordering online, so I called them up and they overnighted the contacts free of charge. plus there is a discount when you order in bulk.
